Please download, or "get" the Table of Contents file
(which is named Contents) to learn of the details of
the files included which make up our net_book.

Unix is case sensitive, so when trying to download these files,
make sure to copy the filenames exactly.

Users of all filesystems can download these files.
However, if your filesystem does not support long filenames,
you can download the files with shorter names via the
second file name option on the get command. For example,
to download the file ch.3_social_forces,
issue the following command from the FTP> prompt:

get ch.3.social_forces 3social.for

If the file is compressed, the ftp software at wuarchive will
automatically uncompress it, if you leave the .Z extension off
when telling ftp which file to retrieve. For example, to retrieve
the file CH.6_untold_ARPA.Z uncompressed, issue the following
command:

	get ch.6_untold_ARPA

and the file will arrive on your system in an uncompressed ascii
text format.

Hope the enclosed ideas prove to be stimulating. Read in Good Health.
